StudyAmíe is a study-partner and group collaboration platform. We only collect data that helps the app work, improves safety, and helps you connect with the right study partners.

Information we collect

• Account information: email address and authentication identifiers (handled by Clerk).
• Profile information: display name, avatar, school/year, courses/classes, study preferences, and availability you choose to provide.
• Usage information: basic analytics about how features are used (e.g., sessions completed) to power progress tracking and streaks.
• Communications: messages you send in the app and content you submit (where applicable).
• Billing information: subscription status and plan details (handled by Clerk Billing). We do not store full card details.

How we use your information

• Provide core features (matching, groups, messaging, study sessions).
• Personalize your experience (availability, preferences, recommendations).
• Maintain safety and prevent abuse.
• Process subscriptions and enforce plan limits where applicable.
• Improve the app and fix bugs.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers who help us operate the app (for example: authentication and billing providers, infrastructure providers).

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations. You may request deletion by contacting support.

We use industry-standard security practices, but no system is 100% secure. Please keep your login credentials safe.
