Getting Started

Yes. You can start on the Free plan with core features like partner matching, study sessions/live rooms, joining groups, timers, and basic progress tracking. If you want extras like creating private groups, group chat, screen sharing, advanced analytics, or study tools (notes/whiteboard/tasks), you can upgrade anytime.
Matching is based on the information you add to your profile — like your classes, availability, and preferences. You can review suggested partners, view profiles, and decide who you want to connect with.
Yes. The web app works on phones, tablets, and computers. A dedicated mobile app is also in the works — you can get notified when it launches on the Mobile App page.

Study Sessions

As long as you need. You can use timers (including Pomodoro) to keep sessions focused, but you’re not forced into a strict session length.
Yes. You can schedule sessions ahead of time and set repeating sessions (daily/weekly/monthly/custom) with optional reminders to stay consistent.
You can study together with live sessions and built-in focus tools. Some collaboration features like screen sharing and advanced study tools (notes/whiteboard/tasks) may require a paid plan depending on what you’re using.

Account & Privacy

We use HTTPS and standard security best practices to protect data in transit. You also control what you share on your profile and who you connect with. If you have a specific privacy question, email us and we’ll help.
Account deletion is supported on request. If you want your account removed, email support@studyamie.com from the email on your account and we’ll take care of it.
You control your profile visibility in Settings. By default, your profile is visible to other StudyAmíe users for matching and collaboration, but you can adjust what’s shown.

Billing & Plans

Yes. You can manage your subscription from Settings (Subscription tab) and change plans as needed.
Not at the moment. We’re keeping pricing simple while we’re actively shipping improvements — but we may offer promos in the future.
Billing is handled securely through our payment provider. In most regions, major credit/debit cards are supported. If you run into an issue at checkout, contact support and we’ll help.
